Motorcyclist killed in New Orleans accident

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Police say a man was killed in a motorcycle accident in eastern New Orleans.
The accident happened shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Chef Menteur Highway and Lonely Oak Drive.
Police say the motorcyclist was westbound on Chef Menteur when he collided with a car turning left onto the highway from Lonely Oak.
No charges have been filed.
Police have not released the victim's name.
