BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Baton Rouge police have identified a man killed in a motorcycle crash.
Police tell the Advocate (http://bit.ly/pZ3Fqd ) 31-year-old Jermaine Knox of Baton Rouge was fatally injured when he tried to avoid a collision with a car.
The crash was reported to police at 8:28 p.m. Friday.
Police say Knox tried to avoid the car by putting his motorcycle on the ground.
Sgt. Eugene Smith says Knox then fell off and hit his head on the driver's side wheel of the car.
Knox was pronounced dead at the scene.
