Mother accused of killing infant daughter

On December 18, 2012, Detectives with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office Bureau of Investigations arrested Kristin Fowler, 31, of New Iberia for first degree murder for the death of her two month old child.
Police say on May 14, 2012, detectives responded to a local hospital where the death of a two month old female infant was reported. Through many hours of investigation, detectives were able to obtain enough probable cause to issue a warrant for Fowler's arrest.
Fowler was booked into the Iberia Parish Jail on first degree murder and currently being held without bond.
