Morning fire destroys Chataigner home

According to Fire Chief Ted Demoruelle, a fire that started around 11:30 this morning destroyed a home in the village of Chataigner.
According to the chief, the fire happened at 5975 Vine Street at the home of Landon Thompson. The fire took about 40 minutes to get under control and a fire crew is still on the scene.
No one was home at time of the fire and there were no injuries to report. The fire remains under investigation.
