Morning Fire at Lafayette Correctional Center

Crews are responding to a cell fire at the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center. We are told the fire was inside the building, but has been put out. One inmate has been taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. We will have more information this evening on Acadiana's Newschannel.
