Morgan City shooter; turns shotgun on stepdaughter, boyfriend

According to the Morgan City Police Department, police arrived to the scene of a shooting that left two victims in wounded.

On December 17, police officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 300 block of Arkansas Street. Officers were advised that two people were shot. The shooter supposedly still on scene at the time. After arriving on the scene, officers found the couple had been shot with a shotgun by Bobby Ray Flores. The 22 year-old female, the stepdaughter of Flores, had been shot in the hand.
The 50 year-old male victim, her boyfriend, was shot on the left side of his chest.

Flores lived at the scene of the shooting and was present when authorities arrived.

Both victims were transported to area hospitals. The female victim is in stable condition, however, the male subject is in ICU, but listed as stable as of last contact with hospitals. Flores was booked into City jail with no bond set yet.
