Morgan City man dies in St. Landry Parish crash

OPELOUSAS, La. (AP) - State police say a 58-year-old Morgan City man died in a two-vehicle accident in St. Landry Parish.
Troopers say Lee Metz was pronounced dead at the scene on Interstate 49 just north of Opelousas.
Investigators say Metz was traveling southbound Sunday when his vehicle crossed the median and hit a truck driven by 47-year-old Michael Anderson of Ville Platte head-on.
Anderson was taken to Opelousas General with minor injuries.
