Morgan City man arrested for in-home counterfeit device

The Morgan City Police Department was investigating a complaint of an individual passing counterfeit currency in the Morgan City area. The bills were in $20.00 and $100.00 denominations. Investigators developed 66-year-old Gary Click as a suspect and conducted a search of his home. During the search Investigators located and seized counterfeit currency in $20.00 and $100.00 bills along with full sheets of bills that had not yet been cut. Investigators also seized computers, scanners, and storage devices which had been used in making the fake currency. Click was arrested and transported to the City Jail in Morgan City where he was booked with bond being later set at $7,500.00.
