Morgan City Daily Arrest Report

The following were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 01/31/2014:

1. Jacoby Phillips, 17 years of age, Address-Poplar St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/31/2014 @ 10:58pm

Charge: Letting a Disorderly Place

Trey Robin, 17 years of age, Address-Levee Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/31/2014 @ 10:50pm

Charge: Minor in Possession of Alcoholic Beverage

Officers responded to a complaint of excessive noise at a Poplar St. residence. Officers arrived at the residence and observed minors inside the residence along with a large amount of alcoholic beverage. During the investigation, officers located Jacoby Phillips who residence at the residence along with the juveniles. Phillips, who was 17 years of age, was arrested and charged for allowing the residence to be used for nefarious purposes and disorderly conduct. A 17 year old subject, idenfified as Trey Robin was arrested after he was found to possess alcoholic beverage by a person under 21. The subjects were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated. The juveniles inside the residence were released to parents.

2. Roberto L. Ramos, 33 years of age, Address-Halsey St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/01/2014 @ 1:48am

Charge: Possession of Schedule II CDS-Cocaine

Officers were dispatched to a Hwy 182 convenience store regarding a Hispanic male subject who had dropped a cellophane bag which was believed to be cocaine, a controlled dangerous substance. Officers arrived and located the subject in question, identified as Roberto Ramos. The item was recovered and found to be suspected cocaine. He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

3. David S. Blair, 37 years of age, Address-Bush St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 02/01/2014 @ 10:21pm

Charge: Domestic Abuse Battery

David S. Blair was arrested after officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a Bush St. residence. Officers arrived to investigate and learned that Blair had struck a female who also resided at the residence. He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.
