The following persons were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 10/29/2013:
1. Quincy Johnson, 19 years of age, Address-Wren Street Morgan City, Louisiana was arrested on 10/29/2013 @ 3:04pm
Charge: Simple Battery; Resisting an Officer; Disturbing the Peace
Kristin Renee Hull, 23 years of age, Address-Wren Street Morgan City, Louisiana was arrested on 10/29/2013 @ 3:33 pm
Charge: Remaining where forbidden, Disturbing the Peace
Officers were dispatched to Lawrence Park in Morgan City in regards to a male subject striking a female subject inside the park. Officers arrived and were advised by witnesses that a male subject, identified as Quincy Johnson struck a female twice in the side of the head with such force to knock a baby stroller over
which contained a toddler. The subject, Johnson was detained and after questioning, placed under arrest. Johnson began to use loud profane language
creating a disturbance and had to by physically restrained and placed in the rear of a transport unit. Quincy Johnson was transported to the Morgan City Jail facility where he was incarcerated with a bond of $1,476.00.
A short time later, the Morgan City Police Department received a complaint alleging that the female victim, identified as Kristin Hull returned to Lawrence Park and began to verbally threaten patrons in the park whom she alleged caused the arrest. Officers located the subject, Hull at Lawrence Park. She refused to cooperate with officers requests to cease the disturbance. She continued to use loud and profane threatening language towards others inside the park. She was asked to leave but refused. She was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated with a bond of $634.00.
