Morgan City Arrest Report: February 17, 2010

Arrested: 02/15/10 @ 10:09am Location: MCPD; Barbara N. Pollard, 44yoa, Plum St. Patterson

Charges: Warrant: 1.) Bank Fraud (Value-$982.85),
2.) Forgery
3.) Identity Theft

Details: Morgan City Police Department Detectives were investigating complaints from two different local financial institutions involving identity theft. During the investigation, It was learned that Pollard used another persons identity to secure and obtain loans. The checks obtained in both the loans were then cashed at local banks. Pollard was brought to the MCPD for questioning, and was arrested on the above two warrants which had been issued during the investigation. Pollard was booked into City jail with bond set at $50,000.00 and has since been released.

The MCPD had no problems or arrests on Tuesdays Parade Route.
