Morehouse deputies arrest slaying suspect

BASTROP, La. (AP) - Morehouse Parish sheriff's deputies have arrested a suspect in the death of a Bastrop man.
Sheriff Mike Tubbs says 52-year-old Samuel Dale Turner was booked Saturday with first-degree murder in the death of 79-year-old Billy Wayne McCready.
Tubbs says a neighbor found McCready dead inside his Bastrop home Friday.
Tubbs says investigators believe robbery was the motive for the slaying.
It was unclear whether Turner has an attorney.
