Moist air trapped at the surface with dry air aloft will keep some of the clouds and fog around Acadiana today. Those gray skies will also prevent the temperatures from warming. The dry air will filter down across the western sections of Acadiana later this afternoon perhaps breaking up the clouds and allowing a few peeks of sunshine.
Areas that do see some sun should reach the lower 70s today, while regions that remain cloudy will stay in the upper 60s. Warmer weather is expected this weekend with some rain coming in late Sunday. A strong cold front is expected to push through early Monday morning with colder weather next week.
