Monterey woman killed in accident

MONTEREY, La. (AP) - Louisiana State Police say a 46-year-old Monterey woman was killed when she apparently lost control of her vehicle and ran off the road.
Troopers tell The Natchez Democrat Sheila Farrar was driving north on La. Highway 129 Sunday when her car struck a bridge railing.
Investigators say Farrar was not wearing her seat belt.
She was transported to Riverland Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
