Mississippi red snapper season extended

BILOXI, Miss. (AP) - Mississippi's recreational red snapper season has been extended six days until July 17.
Officials with the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources say the change was issued by the National Marine Fisheries Service.
The season will now end in Mississippi territorial waters July 17 at 12:01 a.m.
