The boyfriend of the woman who is missing along with two children in St. Martin Parish is in the custody of the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office.
According to the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office, Clyde Colby Louviere was riding four-wheelers with 25-year-old Heather Gary, four-year-old Landon Sonnier and 4-year-old Taylin Toucheck on Sunday afternoon when one of the ATVs got stuck.
Deputies say Louviere left to go find help, and while he was walking was picked up by a passerby. The passerby took Louviere to his house to call for help, and when deputies arrived to question Louviere it was discovered that he had an outstanding warrant in Lafayette Parish for reckless operation.
St. Martin Parish deputies booked Louviere in the St. Martin Parish Jail for his outstanding warrant. He is still in custody and being questioned by deputies regarding the missing persons investigation.
Gary and the two children were last seen walking on Joel Blanchard road around 4:15 yesterday afternoon by an oil worker who later called deputies when he did not see them again.
Gary is wearing a yellow spaghetti-strapped shirt and no shoes. Deputies say she may be covered in mud.
Toucheck has blonde hair and and was wearing a pink shirt. Sonnier is described only as wearing blue jeans.
Deputies say they will be releasing more information throughout the morning. Investigators are working with the parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness to map the area and create a grid to help in the search effort.
