JENNINGS, La. (AP) A search team has found the body of a 21-year-old Jennings man who had been missing since early Sunday morning.
Jefferson Davis Parish Coroner Charles Deese tells The Advocate the body is that of Jayce Ryan Dupuis. Deese said he could not yet release the cause of Dupuis' death.
Chief Deputy Larry Dupuis, with the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Office, said investigators are treating the death as a homicide.
The body was found Thursday along some railroad tracks in Jennings.
Authorities say the body was sent to the Calcasieu Parish Coroner's Office for autopsy.
