Missing Broussard woman last seen five days ago

Air and ground searches have not helped in the search for a missing Broussard woman. "Extensive search efforts have been ongoing throughout the weekend including aircraft & ATVs along with door-to-door contact, but have yielded negative results," said Broussard Police Chief Brannon Decou.

Paulette Thibodeaux, 45, was reported missing on Friday, Nov. 9. According to a timeline released by Broussard Police, on Nov. 7, Thibodeaux told a friend, via text message, she'd take a rain check on a Bible study meeting. Two hours later at 8:05 p.m., Thibodeaux's roommate saw Thibodeaux before going to bed. Two days later, on Nov. 9, the roommate reported Thibodeaux missing. Broussard police immediately began searching and the latest search ended Sunday afternoon at 5:00. "If anyone has seen Thibodeaux or knows of her whereabouts, please contact 911," said Decou.

Thibodeaux has medium length brown, wavy hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a red t-shirt with some type of design/emblem on the front. She stands 5'4" tall and weighs about 155 pounds. Anyone who knows her whereabouts should call 911 or Broussard Police at 337-837-6259.
