GROSSE TETE, La. (AP) - Louisiana State Police say a 54-year-old Mississippi man died on Interstate 10 when the cab of his 18-wheeler rolled onto its side and caught fire.
Trooper Russell Graham said in a news release that Donald Hunt, of Louisville, Miss., was driving west on the interstate east of Gross Tete late Sunday night when the rig ran off the road to the right.
Graham said the 18-wheeler's trailer began to jackknife but stayed upright while the truck's cab rolled onto its left side.
The Iberville Parish Coroner's Office pronounced Hunt dead at the scene.
