Miss. man killed in La. wreck

GREENSBURG, La. (AP) - Louisiana State Police say a 26-year-old Mississippi man died in a single-vehicle wreck on La. Highway 10 in St. Helena Parish
The victim has been identified as James Ponder, of Mount Olive, Miss.
Trooper Nick Manale says Ponder was traveling west in a truck when he failed to slow for stopped traffic and ran off the right side of the highway to avoid a collision and overturned.
Manale says Ponder, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene by the St. Helena Parish Coroner's Office.
