Milton Bridge Closure

The Department of Transportation and Development will be closing the LA 92 Bridge over the Vermilion River in Milton, Louisiana in Lafayette Parish beginning Thursday, March 17, 2011, for approximately 10 weeks, weather permitting. The closure is needed to replace mechanical equipment on the bridge. Detour routes will be posted and will include La 733 (E. Broussard Road) and US 167 (Johnston Street).
