While it's hard to believe portions of the U.S., and the Northeast for that matter, are dealing with a late season tropical system, Acadiana has been enjoying late fall conditions and crystal clear skies.
After a very chilly start Tuesday, milder temperatures are in the forecast for the remainder of the week into the weekend.
Expect mostly sunny skies to continue with highs reaching the lower 70s Tuesday afternoon and near 80 for Wednesday.
Trick or treat temperatures on Halloween will likely be in the cool lower 60s Wednesday evening.
Sunny skies and warmer temperatures are in the mix for the rest of the rest of the week with highs in the lower 80s as lows moderate into the mid-upper 50s.
Fair to partly cloudy skies and warm temperatures are anticipated for the upcoming weekend while a weak frontal boundary could produce a few showers by next Monday.
