GRETNA, La. (AP) - A 51-year-old Metairie man has been jailed for allegedly threatening his daughter, who is a witness against him in a narcotics case.
Mark Guerra was booked Monday with obstruction of justice and witness intimidation.
An arrest report says Guerra was leaving the courtroom of Judge Nancy Miller on Monday when he allegedly looked directly at his daughter in the audience and told her, "You are going to pay for this."
Guerra was in court because his trial was scheduled to begin this week on charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia, records show. The trial has been pushed back to next month.
