Men forced into shopping at the mall: a holiday tradition?

It's the most wonderful time of the year, certainly for those who like to shop 'til they drop but for some men out there, going shopping with the wife or the girlfriend is just a way to stay out of the dog house. So, some just tough it out at the mall.

For some of the women, it's your time to shine! SALE! SALE! SALE! 40, 50 and even 60-percent off. But for the men, all the people, lights, and sounds, it can all be somewhat nauseating.

"I dragged him out to pick up grandkid's pictures," one woman said of her husband.

"That's definite, that's a definite there," he responded, laughing.

Some of us have a gift-list longer than the line to see Santa. So, how do we get it all done with such little time left? Blame that on the women out there! Employing us guys to come out and help, whether we like it or not.

"I didn't feel like arguing," Derrick Coleman said. "So, I went ahead and went with her just so I didn't have to hear it."

Take a look at just about any bench in the mall and there we are, waiting... Waiting... And waiting.

For guys like Coleman and Leroy Jones, it's become a Christmas tradition.

"This is it!" Jones says, "this is the ball game. I'm not coming back to the mall for nothing!"

A tradition we all know won't end this year, or any time soon.
