The following were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 11/25/2013:
1. Michael A. Pociecha, 46 years of age, Address-Mauldin, Louisiana was arrested on 11/25/2013 @ 6:29am
Charge: Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated; Careless Operation
Officers responded to a vehicle crash at the intersection of Ninth St. and Brashear Avenue. They encountered Michael Pociecha, the operator
of one of the vehicles involved who exhibited signs of impairment. Pociecha was given an opportunity to perform a field sobriety test which he refused.
He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he refused the Intoxilyzer 5000 test. He was booked and remains incarcerated with a bond of $20,000.00.
2. Ryan Delahoussaye, 20 years of age, Address-Onstead St. Morgan City, Louisiana was arrested on 11/25/2013 @ 2:11pm
Charge: Warrant: Theft of a Firearm
Morgan City Police Detectives located Ryan Delahoussaye and placed him under arrest on a warrant stemming from an investigation
Into the theft of a firearm which was reported July of 2013. Delahoussaye was identified as the suspect and a warrant for his arrest was obtained based on the evidence. He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and remains incarcerated.
3. Jesus Lezcano, 27 years of age, Address-Duke St. Morgan City, Louisiana was arrested on 11/25/2013 @ 8:46pm
Charge: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated; Obscenity; Aggravated Assault
Officers responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a Sixth St residence. Officers arrived and were advised that a Hispanic male had came to the
Residence and began to cause a disturbance in the front yard of the residence using loud and profane language. The witnesses advised that the subject
then exposed his genitals and began to throw rocks at the witnesses. Officers located a suspect who then fled from officers and was located hiding under a Duke Street residence. The subject resisted officers attempts to detain him. He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and remains incarcerated.
