Mass Census Worker Testing Centers Planned In Morgan City

Need a job? The 2010 Census hiring campaign hits high gear with mass testing sessions for those interested in a temporary position with good weekly pay, mileage reimbursement and flexible hours.

The test will be administered on Thursday, March 18, at the Morgan City Recreation Center, 915 Everett Street, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Census needs workers to conduct the 2010 Census in their own communities. Interested applicants should attend a session to take the skills test necessary to qualify for a job with the 2010 Census. No appointment is necessary to take the test.

To prepare for the test, applicants can take the practice test on the Census Web site at
http://2010.census.gov/2010censusjobs/documents/Practice_Test.pdf.

If you are unable to come to the testing sites, applicants are urged to call 866-861-2010 to schedule a time to take the test.
