Martin Luther King Day

Today is Martin Luther King day and the commemoration will be held all across the Nation.

First up in Lafayette at the MLK Center a Flag Raising Ceremony at 8:30 this morning. Then there will be a community luncheon at 11:45. Also at the MLK center.

And in Loureauville there will be a march. It gets started at 10:00 am and will go from Loreauville Park to Our Lady of Victory Church where there will be a program with guest speakers, music and dancing.
