Marksville man arrested on sex charges

MARKSVILLE, La. (AP) - Avoyelles Parish sheriff's deputies say a 52-year-old Marksville man has been arrested on sex charges involving children.
Allen Chris Gintz was arrested Wednesday
after Avoyelles authorities received a complaint of suspected
sexual abuse involving children.
Officials executed a search warrant at the Gintz's home after a joint investigation between the Avoyelles Sheriff's Office and the Louisiana Office of Children and Family Services.
Gintz was booked with two counts of aggravated rape and one count of sexual battery.
Officials say Gintz is being held in the parish jail on a $1 million bond.
It was not immediately known whether Gintz has an attorney.
