Mardi Gras Cancellations

Both the Family Friendly Mardi Gras in Lafayette and Opelousas are canceled today. The Lafayette event usually happens across from the federal courthouse, and the Opelousas event was at the Delta Grand Theater. Both events cite weather as the reason for the cancellations. Parades in these cities are still scheduled to roll.

Tee Mamou-Iota Mardi Gras Folklife Festival has been canceled.

The Grand Marais Mardi Gras parade has been canceled in Iberia Parish. They were scheduled to roll at 11:00 a.m.

Mardi Gras on the Bayou in Franklin and the Franklin Mardi Gras Parade have been canceled.

Le Festival de Mardi Gras is canceled. The Greater Southwest Mardi Gras Association tells KATC that all three Lafayette parades will roll as scheduled today.

All Crowley Mardi Gras events have been canceled.

The Loreauville Mardi Gras Parade is canceled.

The Coteau Mardi Gras Parade is canceled.

The Clark Field Indian Parade in Lafayette is canceled.
