Mardi Gras Beads Donation for a Good Cause

Starting Monday, February 13, and continuing through the end of March, The Arc of Acadiana and Lafayette Auto Dealers Association (LADA) will be sponsoring a Mardi Gras Bead Drive. The campaign will kick off February 13 and continue until March 31. The beads will be collected, detangled, recycled and resold, all of which provide employment opportunities to the Arc's clients in Acadiana with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Unwanted beads can be dropped off at any of the following LADA dealerships:

Hub City Ford

Service Chevrolet

Southwest Volkswagen

Acadiana Dodge, Mazda

Giles Nissan, Volvo, Subaru

Sterling Kia, Hyundai, Suzuki

Courtesy GMC, Buick, Cadillac

Hampton Toyota, Scion, Mitsubishi

Moss Motors Honda, BMW, Mercedes-Benz
