Man wanted in shooting last year turns self in

A Duson man wanted for attempted second degree murder in a shooting last year turned himself in to authorities. Blake Johnson is accused of shooting a man on May 6 as the man exited a store in the 300 block of Marigny Circle. "The two men have had an ongoing dispute," Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office Capt. Kip Judice said. The man was shot once in the leg. Johnson surrendered to sheriff's deputies on March 4.
