A man wanted in Vermilion Parish for an April 2007 armed robbery during a card game is now in custody.
The U. S. Marshals Service and Franklin police arrested 34-year-old Rusty Allen this morning at his home on multiple warrants from several parishes. He is charged with 12 counts of armed robbery
Allen and two other men allegedly robbed twelve people at gun point at a home off Grosse Isle Road while they were playing cards.
In addition to his Vermilion parish charges, Allen faces six counts of criminal trespassing, one count of aggravated assault, and one count of flight from an officer in Franklin. He will also face a drug distribution charge in Iberia Parish.
Allen is being held in the Franklin City Jail without bond pending transfer to Vermilion Parish.
