Man Steals Fire Fund

$300 in a donation jar was stolen by a man who distracted a cashier and then reached into the jar and removed the money.

The jar is for donations to help the LeBleu family. (Ragley fire which claimed the lives of 4 children).

The video clip is taken from a surveillance camera at the Lakeview Store in Longville. It shows a black male at the register on 18 May 2010 between 9:30 and 9:40 pm.

RAGLEY, La. (AP) Four children have died in a house fire in Beauregard Parish.

Sheriff's deputies say a mother and a 3-year-old child were able to escape the blaze late Tuesday, but four other children died from smoke inhalation.

The victims included twin 11-year-old girls and two other children, ages 8 and 1.

Deputies say the father was working in Texas at the time of the fire.

An investigation into the cause is being conducted
