NEW ORLEANS - A 26-year-old White Castle man has been
sentenced to 18 months in prison for making a false bomb threat at a petroleum refinery.
Michael Miller pleaded guilty in June to phoning in the threat to security workers at the Marathon refinery in Garyville last year. Miller was a contractor who worked at the facility.
Besides the prison sentence, U.S. District Judge Kurt Engelhardt on Wednesday ordered Miller to pay a $500 fine.
