Man's body found in Acadia Parish

BASILE, La. (AP) - Acadia Parish authorities are investigating the death of a 58-year-old man whose body was found in a drainage ditch.
Deputies tell The Advocate the man's body was found at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday off the Basile Eunice Highway near Basile.
Deputies say foul play is not suspected in the man's death.
The body was taken to the Calcasieu Parish Coroner's Office for an autopsy.
The man's identity is being withheld pending notification of family.
