Man killed in motorcycle crash

CLINTON, La. (AP) - Police say a Zachary man was killed and a woman critically injured when the motorcycle they were riding ran off the road and hit two trees.
Police Chief Eddie Stewart says Eric Arnold, 29, was killed in the crash that happened at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday.
The police chief says the 50-year-old woman riding on the bike was critically injured and remained hospitalized in Baton Rouge Thursday.
Stewart says speed was a factor in Arnold losing control. The investigation continues.
