Man indicted on rape and false imprisonment

On January 31, 2013 Herbert Savoy Jr. of 2455 Prairie Rhonde Hwy., was formally indicted on One count of Aggravated Rape of a Juvenile as well as One count of False Imprisonment with a Dangerous Weapon. Herbert Savoy Jr. was arrested on a warrant for these charges and was booked into the Evangeline Parish Jail on a $250,000.00 bond. Herbert Savoy Jr. is a registered sex offender in the state of Louisiana for Lewd or Lascivious Acts with minors. Savoy Jr. is still currently in the parish jail.
