LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) - A Calcasieu Parish grand jury has indicted a Lake Charles man who police say stabbed two women to death and seriously injured a third person Jan 4.
The American Press reports Mark Wayne Thibodeaux was indicted Thursday on two counts of second-degree murder and one count of attempted second-degree murder.
He was arrested a week after the stabbings as he tried to leave the city wearing a wig.
Officers also arrested two of Thibodeaux's family members who were in the car with him.
His mother, 74-year-old Mary Marie Friday and sister, 45-year-old Roselind Renee Friday, were charged with accessory after the fact.
The victims, 25-year-old Carla Ledoux and 50-year-old Bridgette Pryor, died of multiple stab wounds.
