BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A 49-year-old Baton Rouge man has been indicted in a fatal Sept. 30 incident in which a woman was knocked off her bicycle by one vehicle and hit by another.

An East Baton Rouge Parish grand jury charged Darby Griffin with hit-and-run driving involving serious bodily injury or death.

State police say 54-year-old Barbara Jacob, who was not wearing a helmet or reflective gear, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Griffin faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted as charged.

It was unclear whether Griffin has an attorney.
