ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - A Rapides Parish grand jury has indicted the 30-year-old Pineville man in the death of Amanda Lee Stroud, whose body was found in Kincaid Lake in January 2010.

The Town Talk reports Reginald Deron LaCour faces a charge of second-degree murder.

A fisherman spotted Stroud's body on Jan. 26, 2010. Stroud, of Pineville, was last seen Jan. 9, 2010, in the Pineville area.

According to the indictment, released Friday by the Rapides Parish District Attorney's Office, Stroud was killed on Jan. 9 or Jan. 10, 2010.

The district attorney's office said the 22-year-old Stroud had been injected with a fatal dose of methamphetamines.
