Man identified in Taco Bell shooting; police still looking for shooter

Lafayette police have identified the man who was shot to death in a Taco Bell parking lot as Frederick Joseph, 19, of New Iberia. The shooting happened on Sunday, July 1 around 2:30 am at 2406 West Congress St. Another man, a 23-year-old, was shot and is in stable condition. Police are asking anyone with information on the shooter to call Lafayette Police at 291-8600 or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
