NAPOLEONVILLE, La. (AP) A state judge has sentenced a Paincourtville (PAN'-koor-vil) man to 20 years in prison with 10 years suspended in a 2007 fatal stabbing.

In May, 39-year-old Ricky Bolden pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the slaying of 27-year-old Troy Tunson.

Prosecutors told The Advocated that Judge Guy Holdridge handed down the sentence Monday.

Assumption Parish sheriff's deputies said Bolden stabbed Tunson with a butcher knife.
