Man found guilty in murders of two women in Branch

A man accused of setting a trailer on fire and killing two women in Acadia Parish was found guilty of murder, according to 15th Judicial District Attorney Mike Harson. Daniel Prince is guilty of two counts of first degree murder. Angella Matte and Jackie Campbell were found dead inside a trailer in Branch in January 2005. Campbell was celebrating her 40th birthday on the night she was killed. Prince will be sentenced at a later date.
