Man fatally wounded during officer-involved shooting at Campus Crossing Apartments

State Police detectives are investigating fatal shooting at Campus Crossing in Lafayette.
Troopers say Lafayette Police officers were called to the apartment complex in reference to an armed robbery. As officers arrived, they encountered the suspect exiting the building and was found to be armed.
State Police say multiple shots were fired, fatally wounding the suspect.
Troopers are not releasing the ages or names of the suspect or the officers involved at this time.
No other injuries were reported.
