SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - A Shreveport man faces life in prison after being convicted of killing a man in a case of road rage.
The Times reports a state judge found 41-year-old Byron Lloyd guilty as charged Wednesday in the second-degree murder of Ray Williams in December 2011.
Police say Williams followed Lloyd to Lloyd's mother's home in west Shreveport. Two hours later, Williams was found dead in his car.
Prosecutors believe Williams went to talk to Lloyd after Lloyd became angry because Williams was driving too slow.
Authorities initially charged Lloyd with one count of manslaughter. The charge was upgraded following further investigation.
Lloyd will be sentenced April 10.
