Man ejected, killed after vehicle hits pole

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A 30-year-old man was killed after he ran his vehicle off the road, hit a pole and was ejected.
East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Casey Rayborn Hicks said in a news release the victim was not wearing a seat belt.
The crash occurred at 12:25 a.m. Monday.
Hicks says Thomas Joshua Devon of Baton Rouge was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies believe speed was a factor in the accident.
