Man dropped off at hospital died from self-inflicted wound & drug overdose

Officials say the Houston man who was dropped off in front of an Opelousas hospital died from a drug overdose and a self-inflicted wound. According to Capt. Megan Vizena of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office, investigators learned Javar Houston and a person of interest did drugs, and Houston later banged and injured his head on an object. The are no charges against the person of interest, and Houston's death is still under investigation.
