WEST MONROE, La. (AP) - State police say a 44-year-old man died in a two-vehicle collision on La. Highway 34 that left one man dead south of West Monroe.
Trooper Albert Paxton says James McKeithen, of West Monroe, was traveling northbound on a Harley Davidson motorcycle Tuesday night when a flatbed truck pulled on La. 34.
McKeithen was ejected from his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene by Ouachita Parish coroners.
Paxton said the truck driver, 23-year-old Alan Hall, was cited for failure to yield.
