PORT ALLEN, La. (AP) - State Fire Marshal Butch Browning say a fire destroyed a mobile home in Port Allen, killing the man believed to have been living there.
Browning said the name of victim had not been released, because his relatives still needed to be notified.
According to a news release, the Lobdell Volunteer Fire
Department received a call at 3:45 a.m. Thursday that the mobile home was ablaze.
When firefighters arrived, they found a 10-foot by 50-foot mobile home fully engulfed in flames and beginning to collapse.
