Man dies in 3-vehicle accident in Morehouse Parish

BASTROP, La. (AP) - State police say a Grambling man was killed and two others were injured in a three-vehicle crash in Morehouse Parish.
The accident happened on La. Highway 139 about 9:15 p.m. on Saturday.
Troopers say a car driven by 50-year-old Stanley Atkins crossed the center line and sideswiped a Ford van and continued to travel north in the southbound lane and struck a Toyota van head-on. Atkins was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the injured were taken to hospitals in Bastrop and Monroe.
The accident remains under investigation.
